RATES AND PAYMENT
My hourly rate for Counseling Services (Maine residents) is $175. My hourly rate for Coaching Services (non-Maine residents) is $250. The reason for this cost differential is that I must maintain additional liability insurance in order to provide coaching to non-Maine residents. Payment by cash, check or Venmo (@Kristin-Areglado-Hurley) is expected at the time of service.
INSURANCE
I no longer accept private insurance, but am willing to work with Maine residents who have out-of-network benefits. In such cases, I am willing to work with out of network benefits, if applicable, for Maine residents
CANCELLATION POLICY
If you are unable to come to a scheduled appointment, I request a 24-hour cancellation notice. If your appointment is scheduled on a Monday, I request advance notice on the Friday before. Without such notification, a $100 late cancellation fee will be charged for missed sessions.
LOCATION
My office is located at 200 High Street, Suite 1A. Upon entering the building from High Street, my office will be the first suite on left; clients may use the waiting area to the immediate right of the stairs. Parking may be found on High Street, or in the surrounding residential neighborhood. Please note that regrettably, my office is not handicapped accessible. I have a therapy dog, “Caper”, a hypoallergenic Portuguese Water Dog who is with me on weekdays. Her gentle energy and calm presence are often very comforting to clients; please advise if this presents concerns.
For clients living out of town, or who are otherwise unable to meet in my office, sessions may be conducted via Telemedicine through an encrypted and HIPPA compliant virtual platform. Please note that many insurance companies do not cover such counseling services.
